Leadership

Our team’s leadership and entrepreneurial spirit will continue to offer a competitive edge for the company now and into the future.

Drew Morland

Chief Executive Officer

Drew’s career began as a maintenance man for Freedom Fuels, a downstream fuel importer and retailer, where he grew into a leadership role with a team of 160 people. Following his time at Freedom, Drew identified an opportunity to disrupt the back-to-base fuel service delivery model in Southeast Queensland and established Strike Fuels, a business which merged interests with IOR in 2021.

During this time Drew operated as Head of Sales, before stepping into the Chief Executive Officer role in 2023. With years of industry experience driving his passion for serving Australia’s communities and businesses, Drew’s ambition is for IOR to be an industry leading organisation that is a critical partner to our customers and their success.

To achieve this, Drew’s mantra is simple:

  • Provide innovative solutions that move the industry forward;
  • Constantly challenge and enhance IOR’s customer experience, both inside and outside the organisation; and
  • Deliver value beyond service.

During this time Drew completed an MBA with UNSW Business School, as well as exchange programs with Harvard and Yale Business Schools, broadening his skill set which assisted him in his current role as Chief Operating Officer as of 2022.
