With over 20 years in the Australian fuel industry, Drew’s career is a testament to what happens when deep expertise meets genuine servant leadership. He began at Freedom Fuels in 2005, rising from maintenance to leading a team of over 160 people, before identifying an opportunity to revolutionise how fuel services reached businesses in Southeast Queensland. That vision led him to found Strike Fuels in 2014, built on the belief that customers deserved better: more reliable supply, more responsive service, and a partner who truly understood their world. Strike Fuels merged with IOR in 2021, and Drew now leads the business as CEO.
Under Drew’s leadership, IOR is driven by three things: innovation that keeps the industry moving forward, reliability that customers and regional communities can count on, and a genuine commitment to the communities IOR serves. He leads a team of industry experts and subject matter specialists united by a customer-first culture, where success is measured by the real difference made in the lives of the people and businesses IOR serves. Outside IOR, Drew can be found surfing the beaches of Queensland and Northern NSW with his wife Jodie and their four children.
