IOR – looking to the future

From providing fuel to the outback to fuelling regional Australia

2014 marks the 30th anniversary of IOR, and what a journey it has been.  The company commenced operation in 1984 and we produced our first litre of oil in 1986 with the commissioning of the Eromanga Oil Refinery.  From these humble beginnings, IOR now has operations in all states of Australia and its growth and accomplishments over the last 24 months have resulted in the doubling of our team.

To celebrate IOR’s achievements we are planning a number of events throughout Queensland. However, we will not be resting on our laurels.  We are excited about the expansion plans for the company that will roll out over the next two years.

IOR has set a target of operating at least 100 Diesel Stops by 2016.  Today we have in excess of 60 sites located throughout Australia and we are looking to add at least another 10 Diesel Stops by the end of 2014.

This year will also see the opening of our first wave of Tier One IOR Diesel Stops at Charlton, Bundamba and Goondiwindi.

The IOR newsletter – which will be issued bi-monthly – will become a vehicle where we can proudly document our latest successes in the winning of contracts, provide information on new products and services and other important company announcements.

We have also recently relaunched the company website to ensure IOR communicates to our existing and potential customers the complete range of our products and services.  We believe this will assist our customers in better understanding and accessing our product offerings and capabilities.

We are also investigating several exciting new projects which I am hopeful of announcing during our 30th anniversary celebrations.
