About IOR IOR was founded in 1984. Since its commissioning of a 1500bpd oil refinery in remote desert Australia providing fuels to the local market since 1985, IOR has built up a process engineering group specialising in the design, manufacture and the overseas export of IOR's Microstill range of mini-oil refineries. Over the years IOR's engineering skills have been extended to the processing industry generally. IOR's activities range from plant refurbishment and upgrading to the supply and installation of process equipment with particular specialisation in the oil and gas industries IOR has built a reputation in the petroleum and refining industries for innovation and the practical implementation of new technology suitable for projects in remote regions where the scale is often small and the economics often marginal. This focus on innovation manifests itself in several worldwide patents held by IOR in refining and pumping technology. The company has also diversified within Australia in recent years to become directly involved in oil exploration and production as well as in the provision of oilfield services and equipment in onshore Australia. IOR's direct experience as both an oilfield and plant operator has enabled its customers and partners to add value to their business from the wellhead to the plant gate. |
